Product Information

CINEMATIC IMPACTS provides a comprehensive sound effects toolkit for professionals who need impact sounds for highlights, titles, or to use it as a supporting and exaggerating layer. It’s about creating audio full stops—sounds that punctuate and emphasize without overwhelming the scene. CINEMATIC IMPACTS is the toolkit you’ll be reaching for time and again. It is the basis you need in each production.

Comprehensive And Versatile Sound Library

As a sound designer, you’re not just adding sound—you’re shaping the emotional core of a story. With CINEMATIC IMPACTS, you have the power to create moments that heighten tension, evoke deep emotions, and underscore pivotal scenes, all without ever distracting from the narrative.

Emphasize, Support, Or Shock

CINEMATIC IMPACTS about delivering exactly what’s needed to elevate the audience’s experience, ensuring your sound design becomes an integral, unforgettable part of the storytelling.

For Trailers, Commercials, And Promos

For sound designers, editors or content creators: CINEMATIC IMPACTS delivers power, mass, epicness and energy enough to stand on its own. Ready for quick workflows if needed.

For Games, Movies, And TV Shows

The library is still versatile enough to be used to emphasize scenes or moments or to support specific actions and elements of your own creative vision.

Designed Cinematic Impact Sounds

The CINEMATIC IMPACTS Designed pack is instant gratification with our legendary designed elements: High-quality, immediately usable effects. Add impact to your project just by dragging and dropping these elements; further editing is unnecessary.

More Than Enough Hits, Clashes, And Slams

With nearly 2 GB of designed impacts featuring 110 files and 440 sounds, there’s more than enough included to ensure you have more than enough impact.

What We Recorded

Our approach centered around capturing real, grounded sounds and shaping them through innovative processing techniques, rather than defaulting to synthetic sources right from the start. By doing this, we ensured an organic, tactile quality that synthetic sounds often lack. A key part of our process was experimenting with real-life instruments, such as drums, but played in unconventional ways and recorded using more unusual methods. For example, we recorded massive timpani in a large school gym, capturing not just the thunderous hits but also the rich, reverberating ambiance of the space itself. This created a sense of scale and presence that’s difficult to achieve through synthetic means alone.

Unconventional Percussion

We also reimagined traditional orchestral percussion by playing them with unusual objects like metal tools, hand blenders, and even whips—adding a layer of texture and unpredictability to our recordings. Acoustic instruments like guitars and double basses weren’t just used in the traditional sense; we treated them as resonant surfaces, recording various props placed or dragged across them to create unique, resonating soundscapes. These methods allowed us to craft sounds that felt larger-than-life without having to artificially enhance them through extensive processing.

Crafting Cinematic Lead-Ins

For lead-ins, we sought out dynamic, character-rich elements like whooshes, scrapes, and the drag of different materials to create compelling beginnings for our sound designs. These recorded moments added an extra layer of detail and tension, drawing listeners into the world of each impact. Sustains were developed through prolonged movements on props, combined with samples and granular synthesis to extend the natural length of the sounds. In some cases, we found surprising sources of sustain, such as blowing into a microphone, which provided an unexpectedly rich base for long, evolving soundscapes.

Boundary-Pushing Tails

Tails were another area where we pushed boundaries, blending recordings of unconventional props—like the vibrating tension of guitar strings—with meticulously crafted elements from both analog and digital synthesizers.

Our Promise To You: Sounds with Depth & Character

All of these techniques came together to form the foundation of CINEMATIC IMPACTS. By exploring a vast array of props, instruments, and unconventional recording methods, we ensured that each sound was not only impactful but also full of depth and character. The end result is a carefully curated selection of sound that empowers sound designers to create striking, emotionally charged impacts for trailers, films, and games.
