Parsec 2 is a futuristic additive synthesizer that brings the power of spectral synthesis to the Reason Rack. Unlike traditional subtractive synths that filter sounds away, Parsec 2 builds complex timbres by adding up to 1,024 individual sine waves (partials) together. 1. Register Your License
  • Log in to your Reason Studios account.
  • Go to the "My Products" section and enter the registration code provided by mypluginworld.com.
2. Installation via Reason Companion
  • Open the Reason Companion app on your computer.
  • Navigate to the "Rack Extensions" tab.
  • Locate Parsec 2 and click "Download" or "Sync."
3. Using the Synth
  • Launch Reason or the Reason Rack Plugin.
  • Parsec 2 will appear in your Browser under Instruments > Reason Studios.

Because Parsec 2 is an additive synth, the "Partial Widen" control is exceptionally powerful. Instead of using a standard chorus effect which can sometimes blur your sound, try using the internal widen parameters. This spreads the individual sine waves across the stereo field, creating a massive, "super-wide" sound while maintaining perfect phase alignment and surgical clarity!
