Product Information
With the new Update 2.0 of the PPG Wave 3.V plugin, Waldorf builds a bridge between the past and present of wavetable synthesis. The original PPG Wave, designed by Wolfgang Palm, was the reason Waldorf was founded, and this update serves as a powerful tribute to that legacy.
While the PPG Wave 3.V has always been the definitive reincarnation of the legendary 80s hardware, Version 2.0 integrates innovations from the beloved Waldorf Microwave series. It features a completely scalable user interface to fit modern high-resolution displays and a brand-new integrated Wavetable Editor that allows you to sculpt your own sounds from scratch. Whether you crave the "True PPG" grit with authentic aliasing and 8/12-bit lo-fi charm or pristine, modern digital textures, Version 2.0 delivers the most versatile wavetable experience Waldorf has ever offered.
