Your purchase from mypluginworld.com provides a digital license for your Bitwig Studio EDU software.

Important: Bitwig Studio is a full digital audio workstation (DAW) — it is a standalone music production application. The EDU version is the educational edition with identical features.

Account Required: You must create a free Bitwig account to register your license.

Step 1 — Create Your Bitwig Account
  • Visit https://www.bitwig.com/register
  • Fill in your Full Name, Email Address, Password, and Country
  • Click "Create your Bitwig Account"
  • If you already have a Bitwig account, log in at https://www.bitwig.com/login
Step 2 — Register Your License Key
  • Navigate to your Bitwig account page
  • Enter the serial number from your mypluginworld.com order confirmation email
  • Click "Register"
Step 3 — EDU Verification
  • Important: EDU licenses require verification of your educational status
  • Send your educational documents (student ID, enrolment letter, or staff credentials) along with the reference code from your purchase and your Bitwig account info to Bitwig
  • Contact Bitwig support for the EDU verification process
Step 4 — Download & Install Bitwig Studio
  • Visit https://www.bitwig.com/download/
  • Download the installer for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux)
  • There is one installer for all versions of Bitwig Studio
  • Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
Step 5 — Activate Bitwig Studio
  • Launch Bitwig Studio
  • Log in with your Bitwig account credentials
  • Bitwig Studio will activate automatically
  • Offline authorisation is also available for computers without internet

  • Bitwig allows installation on up to 3 computers simultaneously
  • Your license includes a 12-month Upgrade Plan — any new version released within 12 months of registration is free
  • After the Upgrade Plan expires, your license continues to work with the latest version you received
