Blue Cat's Hot Tuna is a high-precision chromatic tuner plug-in that can dim or mute the signal when active. The reference frequency can be adjusted to support any type of tuning.

Hot Tuna is a very simple yet powerful plug-in: you can freely adjust the amount of dimming, an indispensable feature for live gigs!

The reference frequency can be changed (from 430 to 450 Hz) when non-standard tuning is required.

All in all, it is a very simple plug-in that will keep you safely in tune!

Most of the processing is performed in the background, so that the tuner does not impact the performance of the real time audio engine of the host.

This plug-in is also available as a built-in effect inside Blue Cat's Axiom, the multi effects processor for guitar and bass.

No Account Required: Blue Cat Audio does not use a traditional user account system. Registration is done via serial number, and all license and download information is delivered by email.

1. Register Your Serial Number
  • Visit Blue Cat Audio Serial Registration
  • Enter the serial number from your mypluginworld.com order confirmation email
  • Enter the email address you wish to associate with the license (you must type it twice for confirmation)
  • Accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy
  • Click Register
  • Note: each serial number can only be used once, and you will not be able to change the associated email address afterwards
2. Receive Your License and Download Links
  • After registration, Blue Cat Audio will send an email to the address you provided containing your registration code (license key) and download links
  • Keep this email safe — it contains everything needed to reinstall
3. Download and Install
  • Use the download links in the email to get the appropriate installer for your operating system (macOS or Windows)
  • Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
4. Activate the Plug-in
  • When you first open the plug-in in your DAW, enter the registration code (license key) from the email
  • The plug-in will be fully activated
5. Use in Your DAW
  • Open your DAW — the plug-in will appear in your plug-in list under the appropriate format (VST, VST3, AU, or AAX)
