The second in the series of David Bendeth signature plugins. Modeled off of a Ward-Beck Systems M462B hardware EQ unit, The Hoser makes a great channel EQ to give that cohesive feel to your mixes.

The Hoser takes advantage of some of the benefits of working in the digital domain, all while staying true to the analog sound. It is really the best of both worlds.

Analog Sound – CPU Friendly

When we built The HoserXT, we had two objectives:

  • It must sound just like the hardware
  • You should be able to use this plugin on every track without worrying about your CPU overheating.

After much trial and error, we finally accomplished this. The plugin stays true to the analog sound, allowing you to add extreme amounts of gain without adding the harshness of digital EQ. It does all this while using small amounts of processing power, to preserve your CPU for other plugins. It’s really the best of both worlds.

3 Channel Modes

While we were using the hardware, we couldn’t help but wish that we could use it in a mid/side configuration. It was just begging for it. So what was stopping us from making the plugin work in mid/side mode? Nothing, that’s what.

You can also process your left and right channels separately, which is a great way to add some stereo width to a mono track, or match the tone of a stereo source.

Activation Method: Redemption code redeemed on Boz Digital Labs website, serial number entered offline in the plugin — no iLok or dongle required.

Step 1: Redeem Your Order Code

2. Enter the order code from your mypluginworld.com purchase confirmation email

3. Click Redeem — this takes you through a checkout at $0.00 (no payment required)
4. If you are a new user, you will be prompted to create a free Boz Digital Labs account during checkout
5. If you are an existing user, log in during checkout and the plugin will be added to your account
Step 2: Get Your Download & Serial Number
1. After redemption, you will receive an email with your download link and serial number
2. You can also find these at any time by logging in to your Downloads page
Step 3: Download & Install
1. Download the installer for your operating system (Windows or macOS)
2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
3. Choose your preferred plugin formats (VST2, VST3, AU, or AAX)
Step 4: Register the Plugin
1. Open your DAW and load the Boz Digital Labs plugin
2. When prompted, enter your Boz Digital Labs username and serial number
3. Click Register — activation is offline, no internet connection required after this step
4. Your license is perpetual

Lost Your License?
