Clocking in at just under 6 feet, this piano boasts a powerful set of strings that produce that quintessential piano sound that every manufacturer has been trying to obtain for the past 100 years. Each note has a crystal clear and powerful tone that we have all heard on high end recordings.

Technicalities

The New York L 1991 is sampled from a 5’10” Steinway Model L built in 1991 (Serial Number 519373), purchased 2 years ago from a Steinway showroom in Seattle, WA. It has been incredibly well maintained and restored to be like new when it was purchased. It was sampled in a large, live living room with 5 stereo microphone positions, carefully placed to get the most out of the piano and the room.

Download/Activate

Your purchase from mypluginworld.com provides a digital serial number for the New York L 1926. Like all Boz Digital Labs pianos, this instrument is powered by the Master Keys player engine.

1. Download the Master Keys Player
  • Visit the official Boz Digital Labs Downloads page.
  • Download and install the Master Keys plugin for your system (Windows or macOS). This single plugin acts as the host for your entire Boz piano collection.
2. Download the Piano Library Content
  • From your Boz account dashboard, download the New York L 1926 sample library.
  • Extract the files to your preferred sample drive. (The Pro version requires ~6GB, while the Lite version is ~45MB).
3. Activation
  • Open your DAW and load the Master Keys plugin.
  • When prompted, enter the Serial Number provided by mypluginworld.com.
  • Offline Authorization: If your studio computer is kept offline, the plugin will generate a "Challenge" file. Simply upload this to the Boz website on an online device to receive your "Response" file and unlock the instrument locally.
4. Loading the Library
  • Inside the Master Keys interface, use the built-in browser to select the folder where you stored the New York L 1926 samples. The piano will then appear in your list of available instruments.
