The Drum Sequencer is a Rack Extension and requires the Reason environment.

  • Host Software: Reason 10.1 or later (compatible with Reason Intro, Lite, Standard, and Suite) or the Reason Rack Plugin (VST3/AU/AAX) in other DAWs.
  • Operating Systems: Compatible with Windows 7+ and macOS 10.11+ (Intel & Apple Silicon supported via Reason 12+).
  • Internet: Required for initial license registration and installation

1. Register Your License
  • Log in to your account at ReasonStudios.com.
  • Go to "Account" -> "Register a Product" and enter the Activation Code provided by mypluginworld.com.
2. Download & Installation
  • Via Reason Companion: Open the Reason Companion app, find Drum Sequencer under your "Devices," and click Install.
  • Via Reason Software: Launch Reason; the program will detect the new license and prompt you to download the device.
3. Activation
  • Online: Reason authorizes your Rack Extensions automatically when you launch the software while connected to the internet.
  • Offline: Use the Reason Authorizer tool to "write" your licenses to your computer’s hard drive for use without an internet connection.
Pro-Tip for MyPluginWorld Users

The real magic of the Drum Sequencer lies in the Probability and Repeat settings. To create a hi-hat pattern that sounds "live" and ever-changing, set your basic 8th-note hat pattern, but dial the Probability of every second hit to 60% and add a Repeat of 2 to the very last step of the loop at 30% Probability. This creates a drum loop that subtly evolves every time it plays, preventing the "robot" effect common in static MIDI loops!
