Pianissimo is a high-quality virtual grand piano that combines the best of sample playback and advanced physical modeling. By using 250 MB of quadruple-strike samples from a Steinway Model D grand piano, Acoustica has created an instrument that replicates the warmth, response, and playability of the real thing. It offers 256 voices of polyphony and incredibly low CPU usage, making it a reliable choice for solo performances, complex studio compositions, and live sessions alike.

1. Download the Installer
  • Visit the Acoustica website to download the latest Pianissimo installer.
2. Installation
  • Run the installer and follow the prompts to install the standalone application and the VSTi plugin to your preferred folders.
3. Activation
  • Launch either the standalone version or the plugin within your DAW.
  • When prompted, enter the registration code or license key provided by PluginWorld.
  • Once the code is accepted, the full version of the instrument will be unlocked.
Pro-Tip for PluginWorld Users

To find the perfect fit for your mix, experiment with the Lid Position control. Keeping the lid closed results in a darker, more intimate sound that works beautifully for jazz or background tracks. Opening the lid fully provides a bright and powerful tone that is ideal for classical solos or pop productions where the piano needs to cut through the arrangement.
