Product Information
Experience the legendary sound that defined a decade. The Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V is the definitive reincarnation of the PPG Wave, one of the most iconic high-end synthesizers of the 1980s. Originally developed by Wolfgang Palm, this instrument’s unique combination of digital wavetables and analog filters powered countless hits and inspired a generation of producers.
Version 2.0 bridges the gap between vintage grit and modern flexibility. It features an authentic emulation of the digital oscillators from the PPG Wave 2.2 and 2.3, paired with precision-modeled 12dB/24dB lowpass filters. Whether you're looking for the "True PPG" aliasing and lo-fi charm of the original hardware or pristine, modern digital textures, this plugin delivers. With the new integrated Wavetable Editor and the Mutator patch randomizer, you can push the boundaries of wavetable synthesis further than ever before.
