Product Information

Typically, mastering equalisers are purely focused on the process of equalization, but PSP MasterQ2 is not merely a masteringEQ; the "Q" stands for "Quality." We designed PSP MasterQ2 to be a creative tool for mixing and mastering or wherever its features and quality are needed.

PSP MasterQ2 can operate at sampling rates ranging from 44.1kHz all the way up to 768kHz. It offers seven different filters: 12, 24, and 36 dB/oct low cut and high cut filters; low shelf and high shelf filters which can be switched to peaking filters; and low-mid, middle and high-mid peaking filters - all with adjustable frequency and Q over a wide range.

The EQ graph displays an overview of the EQ curve, as well as the individual characteristics of each filter. In addition to its powerful filters, PSP MasterQ2 also offers you a selection of limiting and “soft-clipping” algorithms to help you shape your signal and keep it from digitally peaking.

PSP MasterQ2 employs astoundingly precise 80-bit extended floating point computations in all filters to deal with any accumulation errors. It also allows for optimal filter operation at even the lowest frequencies with high gain and Q factor settings.

PSP MasterQ2 also makes use of our our proprietary Frequency Authentication Technique algorithm. "FAT" is a double sampling technique which allows for proper filter operation at the highest frequencies. This mode utilizes high order linear filters to prevent phase errors and linear errors from the audio bandwidth caused by double order sampling. This technique results in double sampling without any sample rate conversion artifacts.

We'd love you to experience it for yourself - it has to be heard to believe! Use it as a precise, surgical EQ for mastering or a color processor for sound design and mixing. Once you try it, you'll understand what a creative sound shaping tool PSP MasterQ2 can be.

Download/Activate

Your purchase from mypluginworld.com provides a digital license for your PSP Audioware plug-in.

iLok Required: You must have a free iLok account and the iLok License Manager installed. Each licence allows for three simultaneous activations — you can authorise your computer directly ("soft" activation) or use a physical iLok USB dongle (2nd Generation or later).

1. Create a PSP Audioware Account and Register Your Product
  • Visit the PSP User Area: pspaudioware.net/UserArea/identify
  • If you do not have an account, click Create an account and fill in the required fields (username, password, name, email, address)
  • Once logged in, choose the manual product activation option
  • Enter the activation code from your mypluginworld.com order confirmation email
  • Important: Activation is irreversible — you cannot reuse the same activation code
2. Set Up iLok
  • Visit ilok.com and create a free iLok account if you do not have one
  • Download and install the iLok License Manager from ilok.com/#!license-manager
  • A hardware USB iLok dongle is not required but is supported (2nd Generation or above)
3. Download the Plug-in
  • Log in to your PSP account at the PSP User Area
  • Download the appropriate installer for your operating system (macOS or Windows)
  • Install each product individually
4. Activate Your Licence via iLok
  • Open iLok License Manager and click Redeem an Activation Code
  • Paste the PACE activation code provided by PSP after registration
  • Deposit the licence to your iLok account, computer, or USB dongle
  • You can activate on up to three separate locations (computers or dongles)
  • Licences can be moved between devices at any time using iLok License Manager
5. Use in Your DAW
  • Open your DAW — the plug-in will appear in your plug-in list under the appropriate format (VST, VST3, AU, or AAX)

Note on Non-iLok Plug-ins: Some PSP products use a licence file system instead of iLok. For these, download your unique licence file from the User Area using the batch authoriser or individual download links, unzip if necessary, and double-click to authorise. Restart your system after authorisation.

Lost your licence? Log in to the PSP User Area at pspaudioware.net/UserArea/identify to re-download installers and manage your licences. For support, contact PSP at support@pspaudioware.com.
