SoundID Reference is the industry-standard calibration software designed to deliver consistently accurate studio reference sound across both speakers and headphones. Even in professionally treated rooms, acoustic anomalies and hardware coloration can trick your ears, leading to mixes that don’t translate to other systems.

This software removes unwanted coloration by setting your frequency response to a completely "flat" target across all audible frequencies. In less than 20 minutes, you can calibrate your studio monitors using a measurement microphone through a patented, step-by-step process. For headphones, simply choose from over 500+ pre-made profiles included in the software. Your purchase from mypluginworld.com includes an Activation Key for a lifetime license.

  1. Create/Log in: Visit Sonarworks.com and create a free user account.
  2. Register Your Key: Log in to your account dashboard, click "Register a new license," and enter the code provided by mypluginworld.com.
  3. Download: Navigate to the "Downloads" section in your account and download the SoundID Reference installer for Windows or macOS.
  4. Install & Launch: Run the installer. Once complete, launch the SoundID Reference app and sign in.
  5. Activate Your Machine: In your Sonarworks dashboard, click "Activate on this device" to sync your license to your computer.
  6. Setup Calibration: Use the on-screen Measurement Wizard for speakers or select your headphone model from the preset list to begin your accurate monitoring experience.

Pro-Tip for MyPluginWorld Users: Use the "Dry/Wet" control in the plugin version. If you find the flat response too drastic at first, you can slowly dial it in to 100% as your ears adjust to the new, accurate reference point!
