In the Spring of 2012, Chris Lord-Alge revisited his recording engineer roots and recorded multiple world-class drumkits at OCEAN studios in Burbank. He then mixed all the drums in his classic style in his LA mix room using the same processing chains that you’ve heard on all of his records. He even printed a sample layer of his famous SONY reverb unit on the kicks and snares. The result is some of the fattest, punchiest, most mix ready virtual drums in the industry! And now you can use these classic Chris Lord-Alge drums in Steven Slate Drums (SSD) Virtual Drum instrument and Steven Slate TRIGGER Drum Replacer/Enhancer.

Prerequisites

Steven Slate products use iLok licensing. You will need:

  • A free iLok account at https://www.ilok.com/#!registration
  • The iLok License Manager application installed on your computer
  • SSD5 supports both iLok dongle and Machine ID (computer-based) activation
  • Trigger 2 requires a physical iLok dongle
Activation Steps
1. Redeem your activation code at https://my.stevenslateaudio.com/redeem. Enter the passcode/activation code from your mypluginworld.com purchase confirmation email. If you do not have a Steven Slate account, you will be prompted to create one.
2. Link Your iLok Account: Log in to your Steven Slate account at https://my.stevenslateaudio.com/login. Click your name at the top of the page, go to Account Settings, click iLok ACCOUNT, enter your iLok User ID, and click Verify.
  • If your Steven Slate email differs from your iLok email, you will be prompted to enter a verification code sent to your iLok account email.
3. Add Your Product: On your account home page, click Add Product, paste the passcode, and submit.
4. Download Via Steven Slate Audio Center: Download and install the Steven Slate Audio Center application from your account page. Log in and all your authorised products will be available to download and install.
5. Activate Your License: Open the iLok License Manager. Your license should appear in your iLok account. Activate it to your computer (SSD5 only) or iLok USB dongle.
6. Open your DAW and rescan plugins if needed. Load the Steven Slate plugin — it will recognise your iLok license.
