WaveRider Tg is a mixing tool for audio engineers working in both the music and post-production industries. It is based on the successful WaveRider plugin and has the same level riding algorithm with a focus on consistent level riding. It can write its own automation and is available in AAX, VST, VST3, and AU. It helps to maintain a smooth and consistent level for a variety of audio tracks including vocals, bass, horns, guitars, and full mixes, avoiding over-compression.

Important: Quiet Art products use iLok for license management. You will need a free iLok account and the iLok License Manager application. A physical iLok USB dongle is not required — iLok Cloud and machine activation are both supported.

Note: WaveRider, WaveRider TG, and LoudnessGracious are AAX-format plugins primarily designed for Pro Tools. WaveRider TG also supports VST and AU.

Step 1 — Set Up Your iLok Account
1. Visit https://www.ilok.com and create a free iLok account (or log in if you already have one)
2. Download and install the iLok License Manager from https://www.ilok.com/#!license-manager
3. Open iLok License Manager and sign in with your iLok credentials
Step 2 — Redeem Your Activation Code via iLok
1. Open the iLok License Manager application
2. Go to Licenses > Redeem Activation Code
3. Enter the activation code from your mypluginworld.com order confirmation email
4. Choose where to activate your license:
  • iLok Cloud — no hardware needed, requires internet connection
  • This Computer — machine-based activation, works offline after initial activation
  • iLok USB — if you own a physical iLok dongle
Step 3 — Download the Plugin Installer
1. Visit https://quietart.co.nz/register-and-download/
2. Download the correct installer for your operating system:
  • Mac: LoudnessGracious OSX AAX | WaveRider TG OSX AAX, VST, AU | WaveRider v4 OSX AAX
  • Windows: LoudnessGracious WIN64 AAX | WaveRider TG WIN64 AAX, VST | WaveRider v4 WIN64 AAX
3. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
Step 4 — Load in Your DAW
1. Open Pro Tools (or your DAW if using WaveRider TG with VST/AU)
2. Load the Quiet Art plugin on a track
3. The plugin will authenticate automatically via your iLok license
Important Notes
  • If you have an iLok Cloud session open on another machine, close it before starting your DAW to prevent the license activating in the wrong location
  • Quiet Art also offers Defaulter v2 — check the register-and-download page for all available installers
